Welcome Back Activities

Please note: All welcome back activities are tentatively planned and will only take place if provincial health measures permit. Please watch our website and/or your email inbox for any updates.

First Day of School

All Parkland School Division schools will employ a staggered entry for ALL Kindergarten to Grade 9 students to facilitate teaching students about the new divisional guidelines and provincial health measures necessary for in-school classes.

Students will be divided into two groups: one group will attend Monday, August 31 and the second group will attend Tuesday, September 1, with all students returning on Wednesday, September 2. To the greatest extent possible, siblings will attend on the same day.

We will be communicating with families which group/day their child(ren) will attend prior to the start of the school year - please watch our website and/or your email inbox for more information.

School Re-entry Handbook for Parents

Every school in Parkland School Division has put together a guide for parents and guardians regarding the new safety protocols and procedures that will be in place for the fall. Please read and familiarize yourself with our School Re-entry Handbook.

Have a safe and relaxing summer break!
